Ahem.

If anyone has any bright ideas for how to get past the fucking quicksand section of Fearless Leader's latest drill, please see me.

That is all.

...

Goddamn quicksand.

You did tell him he was supposed to figure that one out on his own, right?

I think someone just gave someone else a clever idea. Race you downstairs!

We had an obstacle course in the training ground at the monastery that contained a hidden ice fissure, that had much the same effect. It became far more amusing when I began to run others through it.

I'm not cheating, I'm just stacking the deck. Takes quite a bit of creativity, I'll have you know...

I'd suggest just not stepping in the quicksand, or better yet, just going through it, but I suppose there'd be some smacking involved after, wouldn't there?

If I think of anything, I'll decidedly not send you an email of clues. Right. No secret emails. Never.

Sorry, never ran it.

But I'm a flier.

However, the Death From Above run? THAT sucked.

I think on my first run of that one I was officially "killed" in about twelve seconds.

Grr.

Salaam,
Haroun

Waaait...

Haven't done the quicksand thing. I'm still on the paperwork portion of training. If there's vines you could probably grab one of those and just swing over.

I have to say I've honestly never seen a scenario that tried to reenact 'Jungle Hunt' or 'Pitfall Harry'. No vines, is what I mean...

Now, similarities to other video games...

See, a scenario based on Pitfall Harry would be wicked. Should I be scared that the simulation makers play 80's video games? Cause Dude, scenario based on Space Invaders would be so bad. Zork however, would be cool.

Oh yes, _that_ one. When I did it, there were explosions involved.

And was then promptly told that there WEREN'T supposed to be any explosions involved. *sweetly* Almost making one's team leader cry is probably not a good thing.

Hrm. You know, I had a new scenario idea for you...
