An apparent European cell of Magnetic North has been making some pretty pointed threats directed at a German anti-mutant activist. They claim to be prepared to violently disrupt a rally he's speaking at tomorrow in Berlin. I can't say the prospect of sticking our noses into a situation like that fills me with joy, but I think this is one of those cases where we need to put our money where our mouths are and actually protect specific people who very decidedly hate and fear us.

Oddly enough, Charles got the information from a certain, currently very high-ranking friend in Hungary. I'm not sure that Prime Minister Barath can actually wish this man well, given that he's apparently been running around shouting at the top of his lungs about what a travesty it is to see a openly declared mutant leading Hungary. But he at least doesn't want to see him and any number of misguided but relatively innocent rally attendees used to make an equally misguided statement. I think we can appreciate that, and the unofficial heads-up.

We'll need to stay well clear of the Berlin police, obviously, but I trust to our ability to be discreet. I'm going to make it a small team, though - Jean, Kurt, and Marie, if you could come down after dinner and we'll go over the layout of the area where the rally's being held? Figure on a pre-dawn departure tomorrow morning. Oh, and Kurt, you'll definitely need an image inducer.
